Bruny Island – Tasmania

Bruny Island is an island off the south-eastern coast of Tasmania, near Hobart which it is separated by the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, named after French explorer Bruni d’Entrecasteaux. Bruny Island is made of two islands joined a long and narrow sandy isthmus. You can walk up to the top of the “neck” for beautiful 360 degrees panoramic views.

Bruny Island is home to fur seals, penguins and white wallabies. You can drive on Bruny Island by taking your car via a ferry. Bruny Island offers beautiful bushwalks, wineries and artisan products.
