Every year, the Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk is transformed into a 2km long temporary sculpture park called ‘Sculpture By The Sea‘ which features over 100 sculptures by artists from Australia and across the world. Below are just a few of the featured artists in this year’s exhibition. If you’re in Sydney, it’s definitely worth a visit.
Mount Wellington – Tasmania
Hobart is built on the foothills of Mount Wellington, hiking, riding or driving to the top provides expansive views of Hobart and its surroundings.

Friendly Beaches is located on the east of Tasmania, North of the Freycinet National Park.
Cradle Mountain – Tasmania
Cradle Mountain is a mountain in the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park in Tasmania, Australia. You can walk around Dove Lake and have great vistas and also climb to the mountain top in about 6 hours return trip. Freycinet – Tasmania
Freycinet is a national park on the east coast of Tasmania, Australia, occupying a large part of the Freycinet Peninsula, named after French navigator Louis de Freycinet. Coles Bay is a small town bordering the national park while Swansea is the largest closest town. Wineglass Bay provides one of the best vista of national park with clear azure water overlooked by jagged granite peaks.
Bruny Island – Tasmania
Bruny Island is an island off the south-eastern coast of Tasmania, near Hobart which it is separated by the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, named after French explorer Bruni d’Entrecasteaux. Bruny Island is made of two islands joined a long and narrow sandy isthmus. You can walk up to the top of the “neck” for beautiful 360 degrees panoramic views.

View from above – Sydney
Somedays, things work out and the day I flew over Sydney was one of them, perfect weather, Sydney waking up on a Sunday morning, beautiful beaches, beautiful surf, awesome harbour. Viewing Sydney from above makes you realise how special the city is and why we live here.
Balmoral is the perfect for young kids, families, beautiful food at the Balmoral boat shed. I love the spot for stand up paddle boarding going to Chinaman’s beach or Clontarf.
Ferries racing around Fort Denison
South Manly and the walk path to Shelly beach, a great snorkelling spot and also excellent for standup paddle boarding
Esperance – Western Australia
Espérance is French for hope and that’s what French explorers had when they sought sheltered there from a storm back in the 18th century, they survived and they even gave Esperance its town’s named after their boat. Esperance is a long way from everything about 730 km from Perth, Western Australia capital city. The town developed from the gold boom back in the 19th century and is now a popular spot for surfing, swimming, fishing, camping, hiking and nature lovers.
The beaches around Esperance are among the nicest we have seen, beautiful white sand, clear blue waters. Twilight beach was our favourite with its rock formation, West beach for hard core surfers overlooked by Eagleview and Lucky bay with its white sand beach, the whitest in Australia apparently!
Another thing to do as well is the Ocean drive, a beautiful scenic drive with panoramic views and coastal sceneries.

Cape Byron
Cape Byron is Australia’s easternmost point of the mainland of Australia. Cape Byron is located about 166 kms South of Brisbane and is located in New South Wales (NSW). The Cape Byron lighthouse was built in 1901 and can be reached by car, cycling or walking. There are many walking tracks from Byron Bay via Wategos beach to the lighthouse. It is one of our favourite coastal walks, trekking through rainforest, picturesque beaches and you can often watch dolphins jumping the waves in Clarkes beach. At the top, you can also overlook the 6.5 km long Tallow beach, a great surf beach but with many rips, so make sure to swim between the flags there.
